Chamberlins head out west

Hey team,

We had a great time this week and the kids absolutely loved having Tyler, John & Ali around to play with. This was the last pic we got while you were here:

Summer Lovin'

Ok, well hopefully the snow will be gone by then, but that aside, how cute is this house? We're so excited to be coming back east this summer and that folks will be able to come join us on the lake!

Here's a slightly more summery shot...

Christmas is on the way.

So Erin & I finally got our act together and finished shopping and wrapping the presents. I stopped by the post office today to mail them and it was surprisingly empty. It turns out that this is most likely because we waited too long to mail them normally so it had to be done express mail. Oops! At any rate, they should be showing up in Edingboro tomorrow (before 3!). Have a merry christmas, we are really going to miss not being there this year.

Well, with Dad's help I got moved. Almost everything was moved but there are some unfortunate losses. The carpet Will gave me (I can't tell if it was the big one or the smaller one) was hidden as well as a few other possesions. I guess if he is that desperate for my stuff then he can have it! I have all the important stuff. Poor old Dad said that next time I am on my own because he is too old for this kind of stuff, but he did awsome and I can't thank him enough for the help. I could not have done the move without him. Thanks to Will too for the Jeep, it came in super helpful!!! In 4 hopefull short months the old lease will be up and I will be free.

I hope everyone has a very merry christmas, even if none of us have any snow. Love you all!!

New project for Will.

Good news family. We'll finally be able to eat again. Just kidding! My company just landed a real estate website that includes user video submissions of their houses. It should be a pretty good project.

Joe's on the mend!

Hi All,

As some of you may know, my mom's boyfriend Joe underwent open heart surgery yesterday (December 7th). The reason for the surgery was that he had a blockage in one of his arteries that they tried to open up with an angioplasty (minor surgery), but as the blockage was in a tough place to reach, they had to go with the surgery. It was definitely more preventative maintenance than any kind of emergency surgery and I'm happy to report that he came out just fine. The doctors are very pleased with how the surgery went and he should be up and walking around today. Walking is a big part of the recovery process, so once he gets home he'll be wearing out the carpet doing laps around the house.

High-tech bonding, anyone?

I was thinking that a family blog might be a fun way to stay in touch! Post family-friendly news, pictures, thoughts, and ideas here and check in to see what's happening with the Walworth, Edinboro, Monroe Co./Gananda-bound, and San Francisco branches of the Chamberlin family!
